A medical transport jet with a children’s patient, her mother and four crew members on board fell into a quarter in Philadelphia shortly after the start on Friday evening and exploded in a fireball that devoured several houses.
All six people on board came from Mexico. The child had been treated in Philadelphia for a life-threatening state and, according to Shai Gold, a spokesman for the Jet-Rescue-Air ambulance, which the plane belonged to, was brought to Mexico to Mexico. The final goal of the flight was Tijuana after a stop in Springfield, Mo.
Gold said that this was an experienced crew and that everyone who is involved in these flights through a strict training.
“If an incident like this happens, it is shocking and surprising,” said Gold. “All planes are maintained, no cent is spared because we know that our mission is so critical.”
Josh Shapiro, Governor of Pennsylvania, said late Friday at a press conference that officials expect deaths in this “terrible aviation disaster”.
“We know that there will be loss,” he said.

The crash came just two days after the fatal US air disaster of a generation. On Wednesday evening, an American Airlines Jet came with 60 passengers and four crew members in Washington, DC, with a helicopter of the army with three soldiers. There were no survivors.
“Everything we heard was a loud roaring”
In Philadelphia, a doorbell camera made film material of the aircraft, which plunged into a fireball in a white and exploding fire strip when she came to the ground in a residential area near a shopping center and a large road.
“We only heard a loud roar and didn’t know where it would come from. We just turned around and saw the big cloud,” said Jim Quinn, the owner of the doorbell camera.
The crash occurred less than five kilometers from Northeast Philadelphia Airport, which mainly serves business jets and charter flights.
The aircraft, a Learjet 55, quickly disappeared from the radar after it rose to a height of 487 meters.
US President Donald Trump posted Truth Social in his social media platform that it was “so sad” to see news about the crash.
A continuous current of police vehicles and fire trucks initially flocked into the scene and took over business parking spaces while emergency services reacted. Within about an hour the scream of the sirens and the commands on the edges of the closed area faded in relative silence, and the darkness was committed to seeing and trying to see what happened as a driver.
The plane crashed at a busy intersection near Roosevelt Mall, an outdoor shopping center in the densely populated district of Rhawnhurst.
A cell phone video that was recorded by a witness moments after the aircraft crashed showed a chaotic scene with rubble that was scattered over the intersection. An orange wall shone directly behind the intersection when a black cloud of smoke quickly climbed into the sky and the sirens bloomed.
The 37 -year -old Michael Schiavone was sitting in his house in Mayfair, a nearby area when he trembled a loud bang and his house. He said it felt like a mini earthquake and when he checked his home material for the security cameras at home, he said that it looked like a rocket was run down.
“There was a big explosion, so I thought we were attacked for a second,” he said.
Jet Rescue offers global air ambulance services. The company flew the baseball-hall from Famer David Ortiz to Boston after being shot to the Dominican Republic in 2019 and was involved in critical patients with Covid-19.
The US Federal Air Center Management said that the US National Transportation Safety Board would lead the investigation. The board said it collected information.
