Apple has worked consistently to expand the world of the Apple TV+ “Severance” series, through online materials, electronic books, podcasts and other contents-so have its fans. Taking advantage of its platform power, the Cupertino technology giant has been able to easily distribute supplementary materials that add to the show’s narrative skills, providing viewers more data on the mysterious employer at the heart of the series, Lumon Industries and characters of others.
And for the fans of production themselves, a accompanying podcast with creator Ben Stiller and star Adam Scott comes out in nuts and bolts of how the scenes and other back-scenes content were filmed.
Currently the most popular Apple TV+ Ever series, “Severance” has won attention and awards for its cinematic techniques, direction, production model, and more, but it also sounds with viewers because it reflects a certain dissatisfaction with American society.
With the border line the absurd takes themes like the dangers of capitalism, the length of the people will go to achieve the balance of work-life, the printing of corporates, the classicism and the bad technology, the “secession” is reaching a wider group than those who normally look at Sci -Fi.
Marketing about the TV series “Puzzle Box Style”, where online content becomes a part of the show itself, is something that brings to mind the work that has been done in previous years about the classic “Lost”, where website connecting -ins provided further data on the mysteries of the show, such as the Dharma initiative.
Unlike “Lost”, however, the creators of “Severance’s” have promised that they know where the series is going and how it will end – which makes it more fun to subtract the rabbit holes following data online.
Below are some of the complementary materials that expand the “Severance’s” universe and offer suggestions for what will come.
