Not lost in Wigan Warriors How big could be for the Super League when they get the Warrington Wolves in Las Vegas on March 1, Live on Heavenly.
The two local rivals will fight it at the Allegian stadium while Rugby League goes sideways and tries to capture a new audience.
There will also be two competition points on the offer, with the three round matches a part of the Super League calendar, but Wigan Matt Peet coach knows that there is more in the game than just those points on the offer.
In fact, as they set up a battle, Wigan and Warrington will “cooperate” throughout the construction to ensure that the best of the Super League is on the show.
“I’m very excited. It’s a great opportunity and credit for Wigan and Warrington’s vision of setting this event,” Peet said.
“Now we have taken a responsibility to not only put up a good game, but to show the super league through the media, take advantage of every opportunity and attack it with both hands.
“It is important that although we go as rivals with Warrington and we are competing with them, we cooperate and realize that we are representing the British game.
“It is a historical event. We have been a part of some of these in our history before and you get a lot of great memories when you win and perform well, then not so much when you do not perform like us in Barcelona a few years ago.
“Lovers have taken the opportunity to make some great memories and have to get it.”
The size of the spectacle is not even lost to the players, with the young 20-year-old Nsemba excited to enjoy Sin City despite being below the age limit for most tract pulls.
On the contrary, he will be there to help increase the sport and get the game somewhere that once held a Super Bowl.
“It will be amazing. I’ve heard it before, but that will be one of the biggest games in the Super League,” Nsemba said.
“To be a part of this, Wigan and Warrington going against each other, we will clearly entertain people, but at the same time we will go there to do our job.
“Going to a very good place, Las Vegas, the city of Sin., We are there to do our job.
“Amazing is amazing how Super League, Sky and everyone managed to take us there as players. Simply increasing the sport and letting people know what Rugby’s League is.
“Yes, I don’t hit my age limit. I’m pretty limited to some things I could do. That’s not saying that I would go to Vegas just to drink or anything else.
“Despite, we’re still going to Vegas. We’re still playing the game. Although I’m limited to fruit shoots and whatever.
“It’s going to be crazy playing in a very big stadium in Las Vegas. Of course, Wembley was big enough for me. Old Trafford was big enough for me. But now going to a place where Super Bowl was held, It’s a crazy feeling.
I feel that all the boys will really enjoy it. “
