KO, the new Zealander of South Korea, had a total of six under 138 years old in the Tanjong course in Sentosa Golf Club. The first round leader A Lim Kim held the lead after 36 holes with a 69 Friday.

“I don’t think I usually play really well in this golf course and I thought this year would be a good year to turn it around,” Ko said.
“The results haven’t been really so low these last two days. I’m just trying to focus on me and I hope I just continue to climb the manager’s table.”
Defense champion Hannah Green shot 69 and was at the same time 144, at the level with Angel Yin, who won the Lpga Thailand event last week.
