Luke Humphries has predicted that Beau Greaves will compete in the Premier League arrows in five years after their exciting battle in the UK open.
The Women’s World No. 1 Greaves gave Humphries a great fear in their fourth round match on Friday and led 7-5, but lost the next five legs to lose 10-7.
The 21-year-old had already made history by becoming the first female player to win three games in the FA Cup Darts style event, with casual draws occurring after every round.
“It belongs to the long -time arrows. She is undoubtedly a massive lawyer of the lady game,” Humphries said ITV4.
“The game of ladies has grown massively and this is because of it, but it belongs to this environment.
“She really tried me there and if we were in a Premier League game, she would beat me. She just had to give herself time.
“Maybe in five years, I think she will be in the Premier League and I think she’s probably a top-64 player in the world now but I don’t want to pressure her.
“Let her continue to do what she is doing and in the coming years she will find out that she has taken the level she can match with me, Luke (Little) and Michael (Van Gerwen), so she has a massive future in front of her.
“She’s still very young, but if you can try me and I didn’t play very bad there, it shows that she has got the arrows in a long time and in the coming years I’m sure to share the scene with her.”
Greaves: Playing Humphries will bring me on a long way
Greaves has made an impressive start until 2025, despite being lost on a PDC tours at the Q school, as it is in charge of the Challenger tournament, winning numerous events and development tournaments, rankings.
She chose not to play at the Darts World Championship PDC in December, instead of deciding to defend her Lakeside Women’s title, which she did successfully.
In November last year, Greaves discovered that she is open to playing men more often after I felt like her game was grown “stagnant”.
Her loss to Humphries showed that she is able to compete with Darts’ best players, which is the long -term goal.
“I left well and then left a little bit, but that’s what I’m trying to work right, being better in my game and more sustainable about those longer formats, but what experience,” Greaves said.
“Playing someone like Luke is just amazing to me and my game. I’ll bring me on a long way and even though I’ve lost, I’m really happy.”
