The team and captain of the British and Irish lion for the Australian tournament will be named live in front of more than 2,000 fans at London’s O2 iconic on Thursday, May 8.
Lion President Ieuan Evans will discover coach Andy Farrell’s coach and captain for the Australian series.
Heavenly It will show exclusively the 2025 Lions tour, with all three tests and six heat matches that will appear live, starting against Western force in Perth on June 28.
More than 2,000 lion supporters will participate in the historic case at the scene.
Lion’s chairman Evans said: “There is no greater honor than to choose for British and Irish lions and as a player, you find it difficult to sleep the night before as the forecast builds.
“Hours feel like the day when you expect to hear if you are lucky to receive that dream call for the final experience in and out of the field.
“I was lucky enough to go to three lion tours and discovered through a letter, a telegram and ceafax – this was our red button version for new supporters. And this team announcement, in front of our loyal fans, will be so memorable in its own way.
“There is a lot of rugby to play from now and May and Andy and his training team will have some extremely difficult decisions to take ahead of the tour in Australia.
“Players will do everything they can to book their seats and we wish them much better in the coming weeks.”
What are the lion’s matches?
After their clash in Perth, the lions will face Queensland Reds in Brisbane on July 2, Warlatahs in Sydney on July 5, Brumbies in Canberra on July 9, an Australian invitation team and New Zealand in Adelaide on July 12 and rebels in Melbourne on July 22.
This game will take place after the opening test in Brisbane on July 19, with the second test in MCG in Melbourne on July 26 and the final test at the Accor Stadium in Sydney on August 2.
