Former Filipino President Rodrigo Dueterte became an arrest warrant of the international criminal court on Tuesday when he arrived at Manila’s main airport on Tuesday when he arrived at Main Airport.

The ICC has explained that it would carry out an investigation into alleged crimes against humanity in terms of dute in monitoring a bloody “war against drugs” that killed thousands of Filipinos.

Duterte had said in Hong Kong on Monday that he was ready to be arrested if the ISTGH spent an arrest warrant and repeatedly defended the procedure of the anti-drugs. He has refused to order the police to kill drugs unless self -defense.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. Duterte’s office was now in custody, it said in a statement.

The former legal advisor of Duterte, Salvador Panelo, said the arrest was illegal and said that the police did not allow any of his lawyers not to meet at the airport.

In 2019, Firebrand Dueterte withdrew the Philippines from the founding contract of the ICCHH when it dealt with allegations of systematic extrajudicial murders, and the Philippines had refused to work with the ICC investments until last year.

The “War against Drugs” was the signature campaign policy, which in 2016 Duterte, Mayor, who kept criminal-bustling power, which kept about promise that he had spoken during vitrioles to kill thousands of narcotics dealers.

According to the police, 6,200 suspects were killed during the anti-drug operations, of which they say they ended with shootings. However, activists say that the real tribute of the procedure in thousands of drug users in the country’s slums was far greater, many of which were killed under mysterious circumstances in the official “observation lists”.

The police refused to participate in this murder and reject allegations of legal groups of systematic executions and cover -ups.
