GTC, the largest Nvidia conference of the year, starts Monday and goes to San Jose Friday. Techcrunch will be on the ground covering the news as it happens – and we are expecting a healthy dose of notifications.
CEO Jensen Huang will give a main address to the SAP center on Tuesday at 10 Pacific morning, focusing on – what else? – He and computing acceleration technologies, according to Nvidia. The company is also harassing the discoveries about robotics, the sovereign, the agents of it and the automobiles – plus 1,000 sessions of 2,000 speakers and about 400 exhibitors.
Here’s how to look at NVIDIA GTC 2025 Keynote Online, along with many sessions, talks and other panels.
Then what do we expect to see in GTC? Well, Nvidia usually reserves much of the conference for GPU -related debuts. A new, updated repetition of the Blackwell Chip Company formation seems to be likely.
During the latest Nvidia profits call, Huang confirmed that the next Blackwell B300 series, codenamed Blackwell Ultra, is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year. In addition to the highest computing performance, Blackwell Ultra Cards pack more memory (288 GB), an attractive feature for clients seeking to execute and train the Hungry Memory Models.
Rubin, the next -generation GPU series of Nvidia, is almost safe to get a mention in GTC along with Blackwell Ultra. Due to 2026, Rubin promises to give what Huang has described as a “big, big, big step” in computing power.
Huang said during the aforementioned call of Nvidia’s profits that he would talk about products after Rubin at GTC, too. This can be Ultra GPU ruby, or perhaps GPU architecture that will come after the ruby family.
Beyond the GPU, Nvidia can illuminate its approach to the recent advances in quantum calculation. The company has planned a “quantum day” for the GTC, during which it will host executions from prominent companies in the space to “design) the way to useful quantum applications”.
One thing is for sure: Nvidia can use a victory.
Blackwell’s early cards are reportedly suffering from heavy overheating issues, causing customers to shorten their orders. US export controls and fears of tariffs have massively depressed the price of Nvidia shares in recent months. At the same time, the success of that Chinese Lab Deepseek, who developed effective competitive models with models from Ai Labs leader, has made investors worry about demanding powerful GPUs like Blackwell.
Huang has claimed that the increase in Deepseek’s penetration will in fact be a net positive for Nvidia because it will accelerate the broader adoption of it. He has also shown the growth of the so -called “reasoning” models hungry by power like O1 and Openai as the next Nvidia mountain to climb.
To be clear, Nvidia is not harming exactly. The company reported a record quarter in February, scoring $ 39.3 billion in revenue and designing $ 43 billion in revenue for the following quarter. While rivals like AMD have begun to violate the company territory, Nvidia still commands about 82% of the GPU market.
