Milutic of Preston Fustard Osmajic has been accused by the FA after allegedly making racist remarks against Burnley’s Hannibal Mejri last month.
During a strange draw in the championship on February 15, Mejbri said he suffered “disgusting abuse” from Osmajic. He reported the incident to match the officials, while the Preston player “forcibly rejected the claims.”
Forward is now charged with violating the FA E3 rule, which has to do with the player ‘acting in an improper way and/or using abusive and/or offensive words towards an opposing player.
A statement of the FA added: “It is further stated that this is an ‘aggravated violation’, which is determined in the rule of FA E3.2, as it includes a reference, whether expressed or implied, for color and/or race.”
Osmajic has until Tuesday, March 25 to give an answer. This did not mention what punishment would Osmajic face if he accepts the charges.
After the game, Hannibal posted X: “I will not be silent about what happened today. I will always call it racism whenever I hear or see it. This is the only way we change as a sport and a society.
“I am a strong person. But no one has to experience this disgusting abuse in the field.”
Speaking in his post -match interview, Burnley Scott Parker added: “Something inappropriate told Hannibal he reported.
“You can see clearly that he was very desperate and at that moment we tried to get a context in what had happened exactly because he was very exciting.

“He explained to me what was said and at that moment we just wanted to choose what it was and where it was in the head space. It will go down to the right process now.”
A statement by the club Preston after the match read: “Preston North End are aware of a complaint made by Hannibal Mejbri and Burnley FC for today’s match officials regarding a claim by Milutin Osmajic during today’s Bet Championship match in Deepdale.
“Milutin Osmajic has strongly dismissed the claims of a comment made to Hannibal Mejbri in a post -match meeting with today’s match officials.
“The club would like to thank the match officials for how they have handled the matter and will help investigate until a conclusion is found.”
