Emma Raducanu is looking for a new coach after parting with Vladimir Plattenik after an unsuccessful two-week trial.
The British No. 2 reached the second round of Miami Open on Wednesday with a comfortable direct victory over Sayaka Ishii, Japan, but did so without a platinum.
Raducanu’s spokesman confirmed: “Emma and Vlado have shared ways.
“Emma has the utmost respect for Vlado and the work they started, but it was not enough going in the right direction.
“Emma is now focused on done, as well as she can here in Miami after her a strong start today and will continue to look for the right coach.”
Raducanu recruited the Slovak plattenic in a two-week trial in front of the Indian Wells masters but its elimination of the first round in the hands of Moyuka Uchijima wrote the end of their employment.
It means Raducanu has returned to the market for a coach, with a long -term descendant of Nick Cavaday yet to be sourced.
Cavaday sat from his role as Raducanu’s coach for health reasons after Australian Open, where she was lost in IgA Swiatek in the third round.
Including Wednesday’s daughter Miami Open, Raducanu has won only two games since Cavaday’s departure.
Raducanu will face the eighth seed of the Emma Navarro tournament in the second round on Friday, directly Heavenly sports.
