Raadacan, Play Miiami Open Place completed her trial with coach Vladimir Platenik after only two weeks;
Before her match against the eighth American seed Navarro, Raducanu was seen hitting Mark Petchey. The former Andy Murray coach was also in her box for the collision that went in the distance.
Speaking about Sky Sports’ Laura Robson, Raducanu said: “I’m really proud of how I managed to find a third smell – I was absolutely exhausted. Just keep fighting … I literally played every single point as it would be my last, so this is powerful in itself and today it was a test
“In the third set, I used a lot of emotions even though it may not look like it. I have gone a long way and I told myself that you had a lot to leave it. I was just fighting every single point. I would get it like any point dependent on it.”
She added: “This was the number one (in matches ranked this year) because Emma is an opponent of Top 10. I didn’t beat an opponent of Top 10 this year. This is my first and she made me work so hard for every single point. I think the whole match was beautiful, but I had to fight, I had to be aggressive.”
Raducanu went out by hitting the pure ball against Navarro, who reached the US Open semifinal, and after repeating two points placed in the tie, she grabbed the opening to continue her resurrection in shape.
Former British No. 1 were unable to continue their offensive game, though, with Navarro quickly rising.
Raducanu then received a medical timeline for the bladder before the crucial group began and after going near 4-1 down fall, the 22-year-old found a second breeze to win four in a row, though she was unable to serve from the match.
But Raducanu hit again to send a competition filled with tension to another crucial place for which she dominated to record her first 10 victory in a hardcourt.
