Over 44,000 Audi vehicles are remembered due to a software issue that makes the instrument panel screen fail and warn the lights and speed of speed to stop the work.
The National Traffic Safety Administration on the US Highway (NHTSA) posted the withdrawal on its site, saying 44,387 were affected by the withdrawal.
Volkswagen Group of America Inc. has remembered some 2021 SQ8, A6 Sedan, A7, A8, Q7, Q8, RS6 Avant, RS7, RSQ8, S6 Sedan, S7, S8, A6 Allroad and SQ7 vehicles due to the software issue.
“The group of a vehicle’s virtual cabin instruments can be closed due to the detection of an internal fault,” a withdrawal -related document reads. “When this happens, engine speed (RPM), vehicle speed and gear/mode indicators will not appear. In addition, other information, such as time, date and distance do not appear. Warning, stories and meters that do not exhibit can increase the risk of collision.”
Those who drive an Audi 2021 model are encouraged to visit the NHTSA website, where a search number of the vehicle will determine if the vehicle is part of the traction.

The manufacturer did not respond to Fox Business’s request for comment on withdrawal.
