A US judge contested Sean (Diddy) Combs offer on Friday to delay its upcoming sexual procedures by two months.
The US district judge Arun Subramanian said that the hip-hop mogul had brought his application too close to his process. The selection of the jury is scheduled to begin on May 5 with opening instructions on May 12th.
The 55 -year Combs has not guilty to five criminal counts, including blackmail and sex trade. The public prosecutor’s office of the US public prosecutor’s office in Manhattan says that Combs sexually abuse its business empire between 2004 and 2024.
The Combs lawyers say that the sexual activity described by the public prosecutor is mutually acceptable.
In a court registration on Wednesday, the lawyer of Combs, Marc Agnifilo, Subramanian, asked to delay the process because he needed more time to prepare his defense for new charges that were collected on April 4. Agnifilo also said that the defense took more time to review e -mails. It wants a suspected victim to turn around.
The public prosecutor’s office rejected a delay and wrote in a court on Thursday that the additional charges that were raised at the beginning of this month were not significantly new behavior. They said that Combs was not entitled to the communication of the alleged victim.
Subramanian also weighs other evidence, e.g.
Combs Bad Boy Records was also founded in his career as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy and it is attributed to lead rappers and R&B singers such as Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, notorious Big and Usher in the 1990s and 2000s.
But prosecutors said his success hid a dark side. They say that his alleged abuse belonged to the fact that women in recorded sexual achievements with the name “freak -offs” took part with male sex workers who were sometimes transported across national borders.
