The Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas says that the keeping of the prisoners of Israel justifies for his attacks on Gaza.
Hamas condemned the remarks of the Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas, who asked the Palestinian group, which Gaza ruled, to relieve and put weapons of Israel.
On Thursday, Senior Hamas ‘official Basem said that Abbas’ statements were “insulting” the day before.
“Abbas repeatedly and suspicious shape the fault for the crimes of the crew and their persistent aggression of our people,” he said.
Abbas asked Hamas to free all prisoners on Wednesday and said that Israel will provide “excuses” to attack gaza strips.
“Hamas gave the criminal crew liabilities to commit its crimes in the Gaza Strip, the most prominent is the attitude of hostages,” said Abbas at a meeting in Ramallah, the headquarters of the PA in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
“I am the one who pays the price, our people pay the price, not Israel. My brother, just surround it.”
“There are deaths every day,” said Abbas. “They give dogs about what they have and get us out of the”, he added and directed a hard Arabic epithet in Hamas.
Long crack
There have been deep political and ideological divisions between Abbas’ Fatah Party and Hamas for almost 20 years.
Abbas and the PA often accused Hamas of undermining the Palestinian unit, while Hamas criticized the former because he worked with Israel and canceled the western bank.
The Palestinian Muzschaheddin movement, which separated from Abbas ‘Fatah in the 2000s, made an explanation of the telegram on Wednesday and sentenced Abbas’ statements.
“We condemn the offensive statements of President Abbas during the meeting of the Central Council on the resistance and resistance fighter of our people, the victims and the struggle of our people and the ignoring of the suffering and the ongoing victims of the prisoners,” it says in the explanation.
“We condemn the continued persecution of the PA guidance according to this discourse, which criminalizes the resistance and the occupation of its continuing crimes against our people for decades, in particular the genocide war against Gaza Strip, freed the Annexion and Judaization of the Western bank and Jerusalem, and the serious suffering from our brave prisoners.”
The movement also asked Abbas to give an apology for his comments.
“We ask the President of the Palestinian authority to apologize for this offensive speech and reverse all steps that increase the division and agree with the Zionist will. We ask him to return to the hugging of people and their decisions and to pursue the absurd way of handing over and compromise.”
Since Israel’s campaign was resumed in Gaza on March 18, at least 1,928 people have been killed in Gaza, which after the Enclave Ministry of Health brought the full number of fatalities to at least 51,305 years.
The conversations about a new ceasefire have so far been fruitless, and a Hamas delegation is in Cairo for renewed negotiations with Egyptian and Qataric mediators.
