Chris Eubank JR has a deal for a possible match with Conor Benn, but he has been encouraged to consider other options.
Eubank Jr defeated Benn in a comprehensive clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Saturday.
In the immediate consequences of that competition, Benn insisted he wanted “revenge” even though he could still return to the best weight to follow his ambitions for the title.
But George Goves, former world champion and Heavenly Boxing Pundi believes that Eubank JR has to retire than to fight.
Groves spent Eubank and fought it in a title of the world high -profile world -wide weight.
He advised his former opponent not to take a second period with Benn.
“No, I don’t think a match. No match. They had the war. It was so big it could have been,” Groves said Heavenly. “I think eubank should retire.”
Groves explained: “Eubank won the victory. But I think he went directly to the hospital and did not return home until Monday morning. So I think he should leave his career there. I think Eubank should retire.
“His best days are gone. The road exceeds it. But he has had a massive night. He has had a great salary. He had a moment with his father. He’s scratched that itching. Maybe if he never had the Benn war, it would always be ‘if I had the Benn war,” Grove added.
“There is no other war there for him that will approach him. Don’t have the match. So I think he should retire.”
