Championship Truist: Shane Lowry in the lead with sepp Straka while Rory Mcilroy falls six strokes | Golf

Shane Lowry of Ireland and Austria’s Sepp Straka stand three blows on the package after three rounds of the Truist championship, with Rory Mcilroy Six.

Lowry and Straka enter Sunday’s final on the 14th after playing Golf Stellar on Saturday at the Wissahickon Cricket Club’s Wissahickon course.

Straka rolled into a 24.5ft bird blow to 17 to grab the full lead before Lowry, playing in the last group, tied it to a bird in the same hole.

Straka shot one four under 66, while he is looking for his second title of the PGA Tour season and his first victory at a signature event. Lowry was signed with a 67.

Mcilroy was at a hot start when that fourth, fifth and sixth bird, the latter with an impossible 54-foot foot, but he gave them all those strokes with a double noise and Bogey in the next two holes.

Mcilroy, the defensive champion who is playing in his first non-friendly event since winning the masters, scored a 69 and is part of a group connected to the sixth under eight.

Keith Mitchell led after each of the first two rounds, but putting the poor knocked it out of his noise. He shot one over 71 and fell to 11 under, tied to the third with Justin Thomas (66).

Hideki Matsuyama of Japan came out early and shot the day, a seven-Nine 63, to reach the fifth and fifth place.

Lowry Zogu his first two holes to move in front of Mitchell, who had Bogeys with three putt in the third and fourth before pulling with birds in the next two holes.

Straka dragged the ranking and took his first lead when that ninth bird. Lowry responded with birds to nine and 10, the latter a 17-legged.

Mitchell gave himself a great look at the 14th first, descending his tee and shot five meters from the stake. He continued to lose both his birds and his parlover and scored his fifth round ribbon.

Rory Mcilroy appears in The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon

Speaking in Tonight Show by interpreting Jimmy Fallon, Mcilroy reveals that he received a call from Sir Elton John after winning the masters before receiving the host in an iconic game from his childhood.

Justin Rose withdrew before the third round of Saturday, citing a disease.

Rose, a former -world No. 1 and currently ranked No. 14, announced his decision on social media about perhaps healthier in front of next week’s PGA championship: “After being progressively ill in the past days, I have made the decision to be withdrawn from (Truist championship),” he wrote to X.

“I’m not in a state to finish, and it is better for me to focus on a quick recovery before next week. Thanks to all fans in Philly for love this week. It is a special place for me and sorry it wasn’t a better week!”

Rose scored a seven-top 77 during the second round and was in the last place after 36 holes in the 72 player event, without cutting.
