Clarke’s phrase believes it is on ‘another level’ for Johnny Fisher but is open to a British heavy battle against ‘Romford Bull’.
Clarke will observe with interest when Fisher faces David Allen in a match this Saturday after their first controversial war.
Fisher got a victory of separate discussion points in December and Clarke could have been open to confront the 26-year-old if he defeats Allen back to Copperbox Arena.
“Next to an interesting war and depending on how Johnny does on Saturday, I think I and he would be a great match,” Clarke said Heavenly.
“He must first pass the Dave Allen but it is definitely something I would consider after being done and dusty.”
Fisher escaped with his invincible record, despite being suspected in the fifth round while Allen took command, and Clarke believes he is a class above.
“He’s a good new fighter, but I’m on a different level,” said Clarke, who destroyed Ebenezer Tette in the opening round last month.
“I have a lot of respect for Johnny and his family. They are really good people, but when it comes to me and him fighting, we are world far away and I am a mile ahead of him.”
Clarke has also shared the ring with Allen, providing a win of the sixth round to man Doncaster after a bad period.
“I thought Dave Allen had done a lot to be honest, but I will not sit here and cry for Dave Allen.
“When I boxed, he was looking for a way out and almost made me disqualified, but it happens in boxing.
“Saturday will be interesting to see which changes both have made and who will get the victory.”
