“We have already lost seven lives, six of them babies, due to the freezing weather we are seeing. Thousands of tents were flooded. As for hospitals, it is full of injured patients, dozens of cases are being received every day, most of them children. We have called many times for the UN to designate the Gaza Strip as a famine zone due to the lack of basic needs. We witness in our medical points so much severe malnutrition in children and the problem is the failure of the international community.”
