As you can guess, designer brands are dying to put their pieces on someone like this Kate Middleton. So it’s hard to tell the difference between something that’s easy to recreate for less. But we just found her exact scarf look on Amazon — and it’s only $16.
The Princess of Wales was recently spotted on Christmas Day attending morning service at St Mary Magdalene Church with her entire family. Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte AND Prince Louis. While some families are in their pajamas during the holidays, Middleton and her crew suited up in royal blue and green church service fashion. She teamed together a green coat and matching hat and some black boots, gloves and a small leather bag.
She finished off the outfit with a classic plaid scarf – a perfect style for the rest us to wear for winter 2025. We haven’t seen exactly where she got her style, but judging by the rest of her designer looks, it’s probably quite expensive. The Achillea Tartan Plaid may be 100% viscose, but the brand was actually able to make it feel exactly like cashmere. And although it feels very soft, viscose has other benefits to it as well as being light and breathable. It is able to provide an extra layer of warmth without feeling too heavy.
Like Middleton’s choice, the scarf features cute fringe detailing at the hem. It also comes in an incredibly similar pattern and color combination consisting of deep green, blue and black. A bonus is that if you end up liking this particular scarf, know that you can get it in other color combinations that Middleton would probably approve of, like red, black, blue, and more.
Some shoppers seem to be on the same page as Middleton this winter too, seeing as over 500 scarves have been purchased over the past month. Not only that, it also has the “Amazon’s Choice” badge and over 1,100 five-star ratings as well.
One of those buyers said they are “in love with this scarf” because it has a “nice length”, “isn’t bulky” and is “so soft”.
“Looks great with a long sweater, denim jacket or winter coat,” they said. “(It’s a) great deal for the price.”
Thanks to Middleton’s look, we have proof that this scarf can also be worn for more formal occasions with things like fancy dresses, coats and knee-high boots. This scarf has stretch though! It can be worn between casual with things like jeans, sweaters, jackets and light boots and all the way down with Uggs, sweatshirts and leggings too. It can be worn throughout the autumn, winter and spring months as a stylish extra layer to keep you warm on the cold days!
