Giselle Meneses-Nunez, Jordyn Taylor Braf
Netflix (2)Michael B. Jordan found himself mentioned in another Netflix real estate show — but this time because of his past situation with Selling the cityS ‘ Gisselle Meneses Nunez.
During the first season of the Netflix series, which premiered on Friday, January 3, Eleonora Srugo presented its employees at Douglas Elliman with a penthouse in Olympia Dumbo, which is valued at nearly $20 million.
“So a big, well-known buyer came here, decided to enter into a contract to buy the apartment. They actually asked the developer here to stop construction,” Eleonora, 37, explained. “You know when a contract is signed — especially when a building like this isn’t finished yet — you have to wait for a certain percentage of the other units to be sold to be able to close on it. That time allowed the buyer to walk away from this purchase.”
Eleonora hinted that the buyer was “pretty high profile” without naming names.
“I think it’s someone who is both Jordyn (Taylor Braff) and Gisela knows it well. People still think this person is under contract and will go ahead with the purchase,” she noted. “Even the brokerage community is unaware that this buyer for a $20 million condo is potentially out there still looking.”
In a narrative, Abigail Godfrey confirmed it was Jordan, 37, adding, “We all know. It is public record. Everyone knows who he is. I don’t know why we’re all talking in code.”
Eleonora encouraged her team to use the tip that Jordan is still in the market for an apartment to their advantage. Later in the episode, Jordyn, 34, revealed that she “got him” as a potential client.
“I was out one night with my boyfriend and we accidentally bumped into each other. The drinks were flowing, he let us know what his real estate needs were,” she recalls. “There were three other real estate agents in the room, so I had to make sure it was ours. We’re bringing that to the team.”
Gisselle, 34, wasn’t too thrilled with the news because of her history with Jordan.

“This client is someone I had a relationship with seven years ago. But we are still in touch and still good friends. We talked about real estate,” she said in front of the cameras. “Jordyn doesn’t even have his personal phone number. So I expected her to at least—just the bare minimum—let me know that she bumped into this person. It’s girl code.”
The pair then tried to resolve their issues privately. Gisselle started the conversation by saying that Jordyn “should have sent” her a message before contacting the actor.
“Remember I’ve known this person for years too,” Jordyn replied. “This person is my friend. We have been distant friends for years. My opinion is that there is no personal relationship. It’s a cut and dry business relationship, which is why it works so well.”
Jordyn argued that Gisselle was making the business deal too personal.
“To me, it was unclear that you guys had any kind of relationship with real estate. To me, it felt very personal to you. It blurs things,” Jordyn said, to which Gisela replied, “He and I are just friends. There is nothing there anymore.”
Gisselle continued: “I was upset because they asked me to count the numbers for them before. So I kind of had a relationship with him and his partners in that sense.”
After Gisselle admitted she felt betrayed, Jordyn struggled to see her perspective. Gisselle then brought up Jordyn’s ex-boyfriend, Trevor Noah.

Netflix“What you’re saying is if I run into Trevor Noah and now follow him and take him on as a client, that’s okay?” Gisselle asked, which didn’t sit well with Jordyn, who asked, “Is that a threat? Are you now on a mission to do so?”
The co-workers eventually admitted they weren’t sure how to “build trust” after their argument. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly BEFORE Selling the cityat its premiere, Jordyn said they were “still working” on the “very long” listing process.
This isn’t the first time Jordan has appeared on a Netflix reality show. Sunset for saleS ‘ Bro, you knew revealed that she got hitched to Jordan during season 7 of the hit series.
“Who would you sleep with famously? Who would you choose?” Chrisell Stause he asked before Amanda Smith chose the Marvel actor. Bre, 33, meanwhile, replied: “I could do it and I did it. I slept with all my favorites. just kidding.”
Bre later claimed her comment was part of a larger conversation about her relationship with him Nick Cannonwith whom he shares 2-year-old son Legendary.
“We were all talking to the girls, and we were sitting down and resetting the cameras — it wasn’t a conversation that was technically (meant to be filmed). I know better and that’s my fault. I know better,” Bre said Fun Tonight in November 2023. “Obviously I’ve learned a lot these past few seasons, but I’ve never tried to be like, ‘Oh, I did X, Y, and Z.’ I was actually having a chat and said I had a baby with my celebrity crush, but it didn’t work out.”
She continued: “You know, there are other things that go on in these conversations, but remember, we want to put on a good show. Whatever it does, it does it, and whatever it doesn’t, it doesn’t. But also, that wasn’t my intention.”
Bre was coy when asked what “Michael B. Jordan era” her reunion took place in, saying, “We’re not going to get too much into that.”
