Smart bird feeders are very much in 2020. Smart bird baths are clearly where it’s at. This week at CES 2025, Birdify is showing off the Bath Pro, taking a cue from products like the Bird Buddy and applying them to a large disc of water with a solar-powered fountain in the middle.
Two versions of the product will be available when it goes on sale in March: a freestanding bath, priced at $250, and a bath with a holder, which raises the price by another $50.
However, the product works similarly to products like Bird Buddy and Birdfy’s smart bird house. There are a pair of lenses on board: a 2-megapixel one with 1080p video capture and another 3-megapixel one capable of shooting 2K video.
The system uses AI-based object detection to spot bathing birds and snaps a photo, which is then accessible via the Birdfy app. The standard AI subscription comes with the bathroom and is free, though the company charges a monthly fee if you want the thing to identify species.
Birdfy also introduced the Feeder 2 Duo at CES 2025, a $420 bird feeder that offers two different camera angles.
