Gardners Candies is recalling some Cappuccino Meltaway Bars because their packaging is missing a tree nut disclaimer.
The recalled 1.25-ounce packages of the candy “may contain undeclared nuts (cashews),” said a notice from the Pennsylvania-based company released Friday by the FDA.
The recall comes “after it was discovered that the product containing tree nuts was distributed in packaging that did not disclose the presence of tree nuts,” Gardners Candies said in the release.
