Protesters gathered outside the tesla halls throughout the US on Saturday to demonstrate against drastic cuttings Elon Musk, President Donald Trump’s billionaire counselor, is imposing federal government.
Organizers mentioned 37 protests across the country as part of a co -ordinated effort through social media hashtags #teslataTaDown and #teslatakover.
Musk’s car company is emerging as a target for political anger at the US and Europe in response to the billionaire’s big impact on the White House.
Through the so -called Government Efficiency Department (DOGE), Musk has orchestrated the rest of tens of thousands of civil servants and has gained access to significant payments of the US Treasury. He has also expressed his support for the German right and called for Sir Keir Starmer’s left -wing government government to be thrown out.
What began with Tesla owners hitting the bumper adhesives in their cars saying “I bought this before Elon went crazy” has grown with activists projecting a musk image making a gesture that many have compared to A Nazi greeting at the Tesla factory in Berlin.
The UK campaign group led by Donkeys joined the German Political Beauty Center in January to design the image, part of a longer montage of Musk’s recent political statements. The group said it was produced in response to the approval of Tesla’s chief executive for the far -right German political party, AFD.
Local newspapers reported arson and tried arson in the Tesla halls in Oregon and Colorado. Earlier this month, a Tesla Hague exhibition hall was protected with inscriptions that included Swastikas and anti -fascist slogans.
Dutch police confirmed FT that they were in contact with Tesla and the investigation was continuing, but no arrests had yet been made.

Resident of the city Lisa Pereira said she came to the demonstration because “you have to do something”. She said she was disturbed by the administration’s efforts to suppress the initiatives of diversity, equality and inclusion, its aggressive implementation of immigration, and the power used by the musk.
“Everything is a little far from the rails,” she said. “So I decided I had to appear. I had to be in cahoots with my soul.”
Chris White said he followed Saturday because he is afraid “we are living through a fascist coup.”
“My children are trans,” he said. “I am told that they do not exist. I don’t know if their health care will exist. “
Although a man shouted from a truck, “Elon is my hero!” Most of the passers -by in the highly democratic city expressed support.
