Famous persons and business leaders concerned that they will be “canceled” for their words or actions will be able to obtain insurance to face the consequences of involvement in a cultural war driven by social media.
Politics is being created by Samphire Risk, an independent London -backed London -backed insurance agency, offering crime -focused products, receiving hostages and the risk of abduction, with Borkowski, a London -based crisis communication group.
Coverage provided by insurance policy includes crisis management services specially designed to protect individuals against cancellation culture and to mitigate the damage to the reputation caused by negative media coverage and social media.
“Distribution or consent of a tweet can overthrow the whole world over you,” said Mark Borkowski, a Pri chief of PR who compiled policy conditions with the risk -risk partner.
“There are a lot of people worried. The cancellation button is the new guillotine (and) an error is your epitaph. It is very easy to get a position for things. . . without thinking. ”
Social media can create almost immediate reactions when celebrities, leaders and sports stars are thought to have often been arbitrary lines, causing sustainable damage and financial costs.
“Social media turbo loads every reaction and spreads it all over the world in seconds,” Borkowski said. He added that “in an era where a single tweet can erase the credibility of a life – think of. . . Cancellation of Chrissy Teigen for reappeared messages – (this) is providing against digital instability. ”
There are existing reputation crisis providing products, but Borkowski says this will “overcome the gap” in corporate policies focusing on personal protection for celebrities, leaders, athletes and individuals with high value, as well as offering Preventive measures.
Politics includes research, analysis, monitoring and training to prevent possible reputation issues in advance, as well as a 24/7 and 60 days of communication work to manage and respond to negative media coverage and social media.
“This includes the consequences of ‘cancellation of culture’ and ‘cultural war’, the area where corporations cannot or will not provide personal coverage, Borkowski said.
Politics will also cover the treatment of modern dangers such as misinformation and deep counterfeits, and extends to concomitant risks such as extortion, blackmail and family concerns.
Borkowski said politics was not designed for people who violated the law or who were guilty of wrongdoing, but aimed at those who were concerned about their words or actions by being out of context or with the wrong “spy”.
Borkowski also said that “world farms” have appeared rapidly spreading fake information to people deliberately to harm or distract from an individual.
