A major winter storm that hit the mid-Atlantic US states on Monday caused federal offices and public schools in Washington, DC, to close for the day. The DC Snowball Fighting Association took the opportunity to transform a public park into the “Great Meridian Chill Battle of 2025,” inviting residents to come out and throw some snowballs at each other.
