The UK reform was dramatically split on Friday as the party removed a whip from one of its five deputies and said he had been reported to police for alleged threats of physical violence against the party chair.
The line between the populist Populist Party of Nigel Farage and MP Rupert Lowe has thrown the reform into the chaos, as it is trying to cement its superiority of voting against the ruling labor party and main conservative opposition.
Tensions within the party have increased in recent days, with Lowe claiming earlier this week that the Farage leadership style was “Messianic”.
On Friday, Chief Whip Lee Anderson and President Zia Yusuf said the party had also appointed an independent King adviser to investigate complaints from two female employees who had accused Lowe of harassment.
Lowe, who has been a deputy for Great Yarmouth since last July, responded by saying he had had “credible zero evidence” against him and that he was disappointed and surprised by the “false and false” allegations.
He added that it was not surprising that this worrying statement was issued the day after my reasonable and constructive questions of Nigel and the reform structure. ”
The claims and counterclaims on Friday the evening extended divisions within the reform, which has dreams of breaking the work and parliamentary duopol of the Conservatives. It has now diminished to only four MPs.
Anderson and Yusuf said Lowe had at least two cases threatened violence against the latter and that the matter was “now with police”.
Their statement claimed: “The evidence was provided for us for workplace harassment, the target of female staff who raised concerns and evidence of derogatory and discriminatory remarks made for women, including reference to a perceived disability.”
On Wednesday, Lowe seemed to question the leadership of the Farage reform, saying about Brexit’s campaign in a Daily Mail interview: “Nigel is a strongly independent individual. He has Messianic qualities.”
He added: “Will those Messianic qualities be distilled in wise leadership? I don’t know. ”
Farage has been criticized by Elon Musk for refusing to approval the far -right agent Tommy Robinson, who is in prison for neglecting the court. Musk has repeatedly called that Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, to be released.
In January, amidst suggestions that Musk can donate significant amounts to the party, the US billionaire suggested that Lowe receive Farage leadership.
Yusuf and Anderson said their party was tasked with taking care of all its staff. “The reform lies in the highest standards of behavior in public life, and we will apply these standards without fear nor favor, including within our party.”
Lowe’s statement said: “Let me be quite clear – this investigation is based on zero reliable evidence against me, as has been repeatedly stated by the neutral investigator.”
He said he had spoken to the KC who was asked to investigate the claims: “She is upset that this statement was made and repeated that no evidence against me was sent to her. She stated that this was issued before the investigation began.”
“Charges of physical threats are wild and completely untrue,” Lowe said.
The MP said he had previously sought to improve the functions of the party just to freeze from the meetings, ignored and ridiculed. “All I said was that communication needs to be improved, the delegation needs to be improved, the structure needs to be improved,” he said.
“A complete inability to accept even the most gentle, constructive criticism without such a bad reaction is not effective leadership. This is our party as much as Nigel.”
Lowe is a former city investment banker who founded a safe pension care provider and has been a Southampton Football Club chairman.

Farage was first elected in Parliament last year, but is one of the most influential figures in modern British politics with his decades of Britain to leave the EU, as well as his previous leadership of the UK Independence Party.
He then created the Brexit Party, which failed to win any place in the 2019 general elections.
His latest political vehicle, the UK reform, chose 4 million votes in last year’s elections-and the third country-but only chose five seats under the first British system.
However, the UK reform has gained withdrawal with the public as it seeks to overcome the centrist’s most conservative party from the right to issues such as immigration and “Net Zero” green policies.
One of Lowe’s most important divisions with Farage has been on his protection against Robinson earlier this year, with Lowe saying “He does not deserve not being given credit for the things he has done.”
