The best films in Amazon Prime Video this month are comedy for laughter-loud voice, but each falls under a different sub-janine.
There is a fantastic history of age of age, a mystery of action, a ridicule and a horror film.
All four are underestimated gems that manage to bring something new to their respective genre, thanks to the shows by stellar actors.

‘My old ass’ (2024)

“If you could come back in time, what would you say to your newest yourself?” My old ass Isn’t it the first film to ask this question, but it can be the best.
In this story of the next age, Elliott (Maiy Stella, Nashville) take mushrooms with some friends and ends up seeing and talking to an older version of yourself (Aubrey Plaza), which she tags “my old ass” on her phone. But when “Old Elliott” does not disappear after the mushroom journey is over, young Elliott begins to seek advice from her future self. As she sails last summer in front of the college, Elliott reassesses her relationship with everyone in her life – from her family, in her oppression with herself.
Plaza and Stella are so entered into each other’s shows that they are somewhat reliable as the same character, despite not looking much alike. Only this is an impressive joy, but add to a fantastic musical sequence in which Elliott portrays Justin bieberAnd you have magic.
‘The Fall Guy’ (2024)

it Ryan Gosling The film has little of everything. Funny funny, romantic and has a great action – but at the core of it, it’s a mystery to a missing film star.
Gosling Luan Colt Seavers, a double -bound stunt after a determined accident broke his back. He also removed Jody (Emily Blunt), the woman he loves and disappeared from Hollywood. But when Jody gets the opportunity to run its first big movie, producer Gail (Hannah Waddingham, Ted lasso) Enlists Colt to find the main actor of the film (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), for which Colt once made stunts.
Colt soon finds himself entangled in a wild plot that includes drug deals, murder and foreign suits. He is forced to rely on his stunt abilities at the risk of real life to discover the truth and save Jody’s film.
Autumn boy It is full of surprises, and every car flip, chain stunt and explosion shakes entertainment. It is a love letter to the Unsung heroes of film making – especially stunt performers. (Did you know that they will finally start taking the Oscars?) You will be fixed for every second of this wild journey.
‘Popstar: Never stop never stop’ (2016)

This film underestimated by Saturday evening liveis the Lonely Island comedy troupe (Andy samberg, Akiva Schaffer AND Joma Taccone) It was a bomb in the crate, but since then a deserved cult has been developed. Samberg plays the unripe singer/rapper “Conner4real”, a pop star that rose in Stardom as part of a group called “The Style Boyz” with his two best friends (Schaffer and Taccone). When Conner Flops’s newest solo album, he tries to connect with his old friends to recover his pop star Mojo.
Popstar Contains a complete sound sound of comedy songs that are disguised as pop hits. Some positions are “I’m so humble” (displaying Adam Levine), “Equal Rights” (displaying P! Nk) and an absolutely absolute number called “Best Girl (Song Bin Laden)”. You have to see it to understand it.
Said in a mock style and future clash from the great comedy and music (Maya Rudolph, Sarah silver, “Weird Al” yankovic AND Mariah Careyto name some), Popstar It is a must for any obsessive pop culture.
‘Lisa Frankenstein’ (2024)

Written by Diablo (Juno, Jennifer’s body) and run by Robin Williams‘Girl Zelda Williams In her debut with the artistic film, this horror rom-com is a tribute to the 80s films like The adolescent wolf, heathers AND Beetles. In 1989, Lisa Swallows (Kathryn Newton, Ant-Man and WASP: Quantumania) is saddened by her killed mother’s death and is trying to adapt to her father’s new wife and her young sister, sweet tuffy but inattentive (Lisa Soberano).
Lisa has a morbid obsession with a young man’s grave in a local cemetery, but she never expected a lightning stroke to bring her life (or at least, an approximation of life). Lisa’s attempts to hide the creature (Sprouse) lead to a series of incidents increasingly violent.

Lisa Frankenstein It is a year -end fashion celebration of the 80s, camp horror and ridiculous shows. It is twisted and absurd and disgusting pleasant. Newton and Sprouse sell their growing romance well, though Lisa is still wanting to a “bad guy” classmate (Henry eikenberry). Sprouse is wonderfully expressive as non-verbal creatures, managing to convey his full emotional spectrum without any dialogue.
Lisa Frankenstein is not as excellent as the other terrifying Cody comedy, underestimated, Jennifer’s bodyBut it’s a nice pursuit that you will not want to lose.
