ex Big Brother UK STAR Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace is experiencing a “terrible” health scare after taking what she believes is fake Ozempic.
“I’m not going to lie and I’m not proud, but I bought Ozempic injections off the black market,” said Horgan-Wallace, 46. Closer in an interview published on Tuesday, January 21. “I was in a desperate situation because I had a lot of weight that wouldn’t change and being in your 40s is harder.”
Horgan-Wallace said the first three months of taking the so-called fake Ozempic were “brilliant”. She explained that she had “no hunger pangs” and “wasn’t eating junk” while having “so much energy”. Horgan-Wallace added, “I went from a size 12 to an 8, it felt amazing!”
Three months later, her health began to change. “I must have had a dodgy set because my body reacted so badly. For three days I thought I was going to die. “I was in my bed, I woke up vomiting, I had diarrhea and I fell asleep again,” she said. “At one point, I had three bags of vomit next to my bed.”
Horgan-Wallace claimed she started to “lose” her vision and her eyes were “blurring” to the point where she “couldn’t even see my phone”. She recalled: “I had no idea what was going to happen to me.”
Although she says she needed medical attention, Horgan-Wallace said she was reluctant to seek help because she was embarrassed.

Simon James/WireImage“There was definitely a point where I thought I was going to die because I couldn’t even function. I wanted to go to A&E but I couldn’t bring myself to go there because I was too ashamed to say what I had done,” she said. “I felt guilty about wasting NHS resources when I did this to myself. When I started giving back vision, I called my best friend, he came over with electrolytes and coconut water, took one look at me and said, ‘What have you done to yourself?’
In the wake of her health scare, Horgan-Wallace is urging others not to follow in her footsteps. “My message is don’t do it. I almost died because of this,” she said. “Your life is not worth losing over weight loss. Don’t ruin your health and buy things from the black market because you don’t know what’s in it. It’s the worst health issue I’ve ever had and I’ll never do it again.”
Horgan-Wallace has since gained back the weight she lost and is now a size 10. After the scare, Horgan-Wallace said she wasn’t prepared to have “sagging skin” and pursued surgery to change it.
“I looked everywhere like a deflated balloon, I didn’t recognize myself!” she said. “With slimming injections, you lose weight so quickly that the skin hasn’t had enough time to stretch, and you look older. I had to have an operation because everything got complicated.”
In December 2024, Horgan-Wallace underwent breast lift surgery and the skin around her chin was tightened.
“They took away so much excess skin that I had around my chin and off my neck and basically lifted it all up. I’ve wanted my breasts done for a while because they looked like udders!” she said. “I don’t mind a natural droopy breast, but when you have a big, old implant on top, they looked like they were drooping. The surgeon told me not to go any bigger and gave me a lift which I am happy about but next year I will definitely be getting bigger implants! I’m from that era of glamor modeling and big breasts, it’s not for everyone, but I love that Jessica Rabbit look.”
