Christy Carlson Romano She says her life has “deeply changed” since she was shot in her face while celebrating her husband’s birthday.
The actress offered fans another appearance in her recovery when sharing a new video via Instagram on Thursday, February 27. “It’s been 3 weeks since I was shot in the face and my life has changed deeply,” she wrote in the video title.
“I feel more grateful than I have ever felt in my life and I am really healed. Everyday, for me, is a gift,” she continued. “I was so closed to sharing things in my life that I loved very much for fear of being judged. Now I just don’t care. ”
The actress nominated by Emmy continued to promise fans that she “would share more about hobbies, passions, comedy, family, just things I am interested in” as she continues with her healing.
“I can be singing in the car, it may be my obsession with skin and beauty, or fashion, or cooking, or I just acting as a total wonder with my husband,” she explained. “If it brings me joy and is not hurting anyone, I’m doing it.”
She added, “Also, as I said @thebrendanrooney, I was shot, and I will eat all oreos cursed, everywhere and whenever I want!”
Romano revealed in a video posted via Instagram on February 7, that she would have been shot while she and her husband were shooting clay pigeons. “So I was shot. It wasn’t fun,” she explained at the time.
“I am very grateful for the first response as a whole,” she continued. “I mean, they are just the most amazing people similar to the Superhero to take care of us in our most desperate times.”
Romano then made gestures towards her eye, telling her fans that her damage “is really bad tonight.”
“Everything is a kind of cleaning. But, I have to say that I was shot in the face and lived to tell the tale. “It ended,” be grateful for every day. “
In the title of her video, Romano came in more detail about what happened that day. “There was another pair with us and they were fired unsafe in the wrong direction and shot me in the face,” she wrote.
“I was hit in 5 places. One was less than an inch of the most hit directly in my right eye,” the title continued. “Unfortunately an excerpt was placed behind my eye and it is very dangerous to remove surgically at this time. Doctors will continue to monitor me (I can see normally at the moment).”
She added, “With all that happened, all I can think about is how grateful I am to be alive. I love my daughters, husband, family and friends. I saw my life lit in my eyes and tell you, embrace the people around you any chance you can. Life can change in a moment.”
