“Paige doesn’t want to move to Charleston, and logistically it would never work for long,” the insider explains. “A lot of their friends aren’t shocked at all, but they’re all sad for them.”

Despite the challenges of living apart, Conover felt confident about their future as a couple while speaking exclusively to us in October.
“I mean, we’ll get married one day,” he said Southern charm ssaid tar at the time. “But she’s a really career-driven person and she’s doing great. And I have a business that’s flying right now, so we’re making the best of ourselves before we officially come together as a team.”
Conover added that he and DeSorbo’s dynamic requires patience.

Conover and DeSorbo have been long distance for their entire relationship. The pair met each other during the filming of season 1 of Winter house in 2021. They confirmed their romance that September while attending their wedding Summer house The costars Kyle Cooke AND Amanda butter. While the exes are “on good terms,” the source shares that “ending their relationship was long overdue.”
“They had been talking about their future for months,” says the insider. “They were hoping to make it through the holidays, but Paige felt a lot of pressure. Between them there were months that were rocky. Paige wanted to announce it because fans would notice that they weren’t together for New Year’s.”
DeSorbo announced the split during the Monday, Dec. 30 episode of her and Hannah Bernerthe Giggly Squad podcast.
“Craig and I have decided not to be together anymore,” she said. “I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. Nobody did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing.”
