“I’m very curious, what’s the most conventional place you’ve done LSD?” Cohen, 56, asked DJ, 46, in a clip from the Tuesday, Dec. 31, broadcast shared on social media. Diplo, who was video chatting live from Los Angeles, laughed before admitting: “Right now. I did some in the helicopter on the way here. … I’m not even lying.”
His awkward response prompted Cohen and Cooper, 57, to burst into shocked laughter. Cooper, for his part, was laughing so hard he couldn’t speak. “Oh, my God! Hold on, hold on, hold on,’ Cohen said. ‘Please tell me – are you tripping now?’
Diplo simply replied, “Yeah.” According to The Hollywood Reporterhe went on to explain that he was on a “light trip” after “microdosing” but possibly “macrodosing” earlier that day.
After regaining his composure, Cooper continued, joking: “I wish I was Diplo. I have to say, I just think he has a fun and cool lifestyle. Can you imagine his lifestyle? ‘I’m Diplo. I do things'”
Cohen then asked if Cooper would follow the musician on Instagram after the broadcast. “Absolutely I will start. I mean … I feel bad about my boring life compared to Diplo’s,” Cooper replied. “He has helicopters and he likes to make things. He fired four shots while we were talking. … And he will play. How does he work? How does one do anything? I had four shots. I just want to go to sleep.”

to YouTubeEarlier on Tuesday, Diplo shared a video on his Instagram Story of himself flying over LA in a helicopter. He later performed a series of shows at the Avalon Hollywood nightclub in California.
In March 2023, Diplo revealed that he ran the LA Marathon while high on LSD, adding drops of the substance to a water bottle the night before the big race. He finished with a time of three hours and 35 minutes.

“I do a lot of LSD, but I’m not tripping and looking at the stars going ‘Whaaa?’ I microdose it, maybe a little more,” he said Search in May 2023. “I was nervous before the race because 14 miles was the most I had ever run. Craig T Fruchtman/WireImageHe attributed his performance to the use of LSD, but noted that he “wouldn’t recommend anyone else do it”. He explained: “I wanted to experiment. It made the time go by quickly, and the worst thing about running is how boring it is. It’s boring as hell.”
Diplo also told the outlet that he used LSD to “wean” himself off alcohol. “I don’t even like to smoke. But I eat less food than I used to,” he said of his diet. “I still eat bread and meat, dairy. These are things that don’t affect my body much. I stay away from sugar. I try to do the basics, but I train an hour or two a day, five days a week, if I can. I feel normal when I sweat.”
