The actress, 51, took aim at her followers who made unsolicited comments about how she looked in a recent, since-deleted Instagram post.
“Not a criticism, but I think you’ve lost a lot of weight lately,” one follower commented on Tuesday, December 31.
An unimpressed Beckinsale responded to the comment, describing the opinion as “unnecessary”.
“If it’s not a criticism, it’s a completely unnecessary passive aggressive opinion from someone I don’t know, who knows nothing about my circumstances,” she said. “So the next time you feel like commenting on someone’s body, I suggest you keep it to your royal self.”
Other comments on the post also generated applause from The black canary star
“Getting a little fatter (sic) doesn’t hurt,” another commenter wrote, to which Beckinsale replied, “Not all of us want tits like yours.”
Beckinsale also didn’t hold back when someone else wrote, “Esta muy delgada. todo bien el casa?” (translated into “She is very thin. Is everything all right at home?”). She replied: “Everything is absolutely wonderful. f— off.”
Another person endured Beckinsale’s wrath when she asked, “What happened to K.beckinsale?”
The actress replied: “She is dead. So please send donations and flowers to @refugecharity and I cancel Happy New Years. Happy New Year to everyone but you.”

It’s not the first time Beckinsale has been unimpressed by body shamers commenting on her weight and looks.
Beckinsale came up against a troll in July when they criticized her shape after the actress posted a photo of herself in a swimsuit on Instagram.
“Go do some squats, I think your ass is gone,” wrote the troll.
of underground The star didn’t hold back in her response to the troll and shared some insight into what had contributed to her rapid weight loss.
“I watched my stepfather die shockingly, my mother has stage 4 cancer and I lost a lot of weight from stress and grief pretty quickly,” she wrote.
She went on to reveal that she spent “six weeks” in hospital after her grief “burned a hole in her oesophagus”, causing her to “vomit copious amounts of blood”.
“I’m not too concerned about what you think of my ass,” she concluded.
Beckinsale’s stepfather, director Roy Battersby, died aged 87 in January 2024 after a short illness. At the time, she shared an obituary for him through her Instagram Story and confirmed his death.
“It is with great sadness that the family of film and television director Roy Battersby announce the news of his recent death following a short illness,” the statement said. “He passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024, in Los Angeles surrounded by family, at the age of 87. The funeral will take place in London, details to follow”.
