Hannah and Collin Gosselin – who were significantly absent from the post – live with their father, Jon. The duo also share twin girls Mady and Cara, 24 Jon & Kate plus 8which aired from 2007 to 2017.
Collin and Kate have a particularly broken relationship, though there are many signs that both can improve things.

Jon was given Collin’s custody in 2018 after the young son wrote a letter to his father from a mental health institution. At the time, Collin said Kate institutionalized it to cover a claimed abuse. “I was starting to tell people what was happening at home, and she smelled of it and had to come somewhere where I couldn’t get the secrets,” he said.
Collin also said US Kate forced him to live in a closet. “My mother had a room built in our unfinished section of the storage basement. She had a room set with cameras in it, a small corner window and she was closed from the outside,” he told Priza. “It was like a content room, literally, and she had a mattress on the floor and that I lived.”
He further insisted his mother “Zip-heard hands and feet together and Bolt closed the door, turned off the lights and had camera there just seeing me”.
Kate denied the charges in July 2023. She said People At the time Collin “received numerous psychiatric diagnoses” and had “many attacks/explosions”.
“All the measures taken in our home were at the clear recommendation of his pediatric psychiatrist and/or his team of specialists and settled in place to protect every member of our family, our friends and pets of our family. … Collin remains a very troubled young man who continues to need a lot of help,” she added.
