“Last night was a long one,” Kelly, 35, wrote via Instagram Story on Saturday, January 11, alongside a photo of her two young children sleeping in a hospital bed. “Go back to bed and sleep, everyone but Hunter. He feels like he drank a Celsius.”
In another post, she shared a photo via her Instagram Story of Matthew, 36, the Los Angeles Rams quarterback, and their daughters. “Before that, everyone was all smiles to go with dad on his business trip,” she wrote.
Last week, Kelly revealed that she and two of her daughters had been diagnosed with a serious illness. “I can’t think straight,” Kelly said on the Tuesday, Jan. 7, episode of her “Morning After” podcast. “At the moment I think I have the flu. Two of my daughters have the flu.”
Kelly and Matthew have four daughters: twins Sawyer and Chandler, 7, Hunter, 6, and Tyler, 4. Kelly did not say why exactly the children were taken to the hospital or if they will be in attendance at the Rams vs. playoff game.

The family had traveled to watch Matthew practice before the Rams’ playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings in Glendale, Arizona, scheduled for Monday, January 13. The Rams’ home playoff game was moved from Los Angeles to Glendale due to wildfires raging in southern California.
Kelly’s trip to the hospital came after she offered to rent charter buses for season ticket holders in Los Angeles to travel to Glendale for the game.
In a press conference held on Thursday, January 9, Matthew spoke about the devastation caused by the fires and the impact the natural disaster has had on his community.
“It’s a hard thing to watch on the news, to be around, to see,” he told reporters. “Driving around seeing all of this, it’s very sad to see what’s happening. Obviously, a group of people (are) doing everything they can to get things under control and get people back to normal as soon as possible.”
Matthew continued, “Whenever it suits us, we’re the Los Angeles Rams. We play for the people in this community. The people in this community support us. This week will be another example of that, obviously. Hopefully a great escape for people who have been through a lot of hard times.”
The Rams-Vikings Wild Card Game will kick off from Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium on Monday, January 13 at 8:00 PM ET on ESPN.
