Well, here we are again – but this time less tears are shed.
Spoilers for the last of us below.
Tommy Miller (Gabriel Luna) Digs the knife in depth while viewers are still overcoming Joel Miller’s (Pedro Pascal) Death in the opening scene of The last of us Season 2, Episode 3, which aired on Sunday, April 27.
“Give Sarah my love,” Tommy says while sitting next to his brother’s body, referring to his granddaughter whose death in the first episode The last of us Set up the whole story in motion.
Ellie, meanwhile, is at Jackson Hospital receiving treatment when he wakes up and starts screaming – seeing a vision of Joel’s death. After a three-month jump in time, she is released from the hospital and returns to Miller’s house for the first time.
Slowly, Ellie enters Joel’s room, who doubled like his workshop, before breaking into tears while burying his face in one of his shirts. Dina (Isabela Merced) enters the house, and Ellie quickly hides her grief.
Dina has a very difficult moment with Ellie, admitting that she has lied for the last three months – she knows the names and location of Abby and her crew. Dina reveals that they are working with the Liberation Washington front, a set of militia in Seattle.
They get Tommy information who wants to unite a crew of Jackson residents and go to Seattle on a revenge journey (more or less). After a meeting of the Jackson City Council – and rather by moving the speech from Ellie – the journey is rejected.
Ellie, which we need to know so far will not get any response, packs her things for a trip to Seattle. She plans to take the trip on her own. Dina, knowing her best friend than anyone, comes up with supplies and two horse heads in the dead of the night. (A hearty moment between the chaos shows Ellie leaving coffee beans in Joel’s grave.)

Elsewhere in the episode, a seemingly religious group is presented by traveling through the woods. Ellie and Dina are later encountered in their dead bodies during their trips to Seattle. (Dinah gets sick when he saw the massacre.)
“If this will be f ***,” Ellie says. “If Abby and her crew did this to people, children.”
Both continue their mission, making it on the periphery of the Seattle. Both Ellie and Dina meditate on how big this militia will be.
The last scene shows Manny (Danny Ramirez) From Abby’s crew in observation by a destroyed Seattle skyscraper, sharing that it is clear that the militia travels around the city. A recent discovery shows that the Washington Iriting Liberation Front is greater than Ellie and Dina could imagine.
New episodes of The last of us Premiere in Sunday HBO on 9 afternoon.
