If we ever get of Jennifer Lopez style. . . we will have to recreate it. The mega movie and music star is always dressed head to toe in designer style and if we had her budget, we honestly would too. But right now we don’t, which is why we recreated her stylish sneaker look — and the style is only $37.
of This is me… Now: A love story star was spotted in December in some designer shoes that we haven’t stopped thinking about since. Shopping at Brentwood Country Mart in Los Angeles, California, the singer went casual for the day wearing a herringbone Coach coat, a black croc Hermès Kelly bag, silver Jennifer Fisher earrings and oversized Dior shades.
She must have known she’d be doing a lot of walking, seeing as she opted for the Chloe Kick sneakers, which are a stylish and comfortable style of tennis shoe. As with most things J.Lo wears, the shoes were an expensive purchase (by our standards), costing $690. And since we could use a casual kick style for ourselves, we scoured the web for a similar version and came across this $34 style on Amazon.

So the Belos Retro Lightweight Tennis Shoes aren’t exactly similar. . . but they are quite close us! They still have that rich, rich, rich aesthetic, done with a matching mesh woven upper. They also have a similar neutral color combination, lace-up closure and slip-on design.
Of course, shoes also have their differences. Unlike the singer’s choice, the shoes are made with a thick rubber sole, which allows for greater traction and shock absorption. They also feature an exposed knit detail around the bottom, which provides added visual interest. You can keep the neutral aesthetic like Lopez with their cream option, or switch it up with something different. Find them in several color options like multi, gold and black and sizes 5 to 11 as well.
Proof that these shoes are worth buying is their fan base of Amazon buyers of which over 1,600 have given it a five-star rating.
They are “a show stopper,” exclaimed one shopper. After having several people compliment them, the reviewer said they are an “amazing addition” to their collection.
“Not only do they look amazing, they are also very, very comfortable, (are) true to size and are) very well made,” they said.
Lopez’s outfit is a template for how shoes can be dressed up to run errands while thrown with some jeans, a T-shirt, and your favorite winter coat. However, they can be styled beyond this. They can go with leggings and sweatshirts for spring trips, and will even be able to go with dresses and skirts once spring arrives. They’re not meant for anything drastic like a walk, but they’ll certainly keep you looking stylish as you walk the miles.
Maybe one day (when we win the lottery), we’ll be able to buy Lopez’s actual designer shoes. But for now, these are a great look in our closet and our wallets will be singing about them too.
