Mary Brown is giving us a behind-the-scenes look at Women Sisters.
“There are so many good memories,” Brown, 53, said exclusively Us Weekly in December. “When I sledded down the hill and went down the other side of the snow. I don't even know what you call it.”
Meri has starred in the TLC series since its premiere in 2010 alongside her ex-husband Cody Brown, Janelle Brown, Christine Brown AND Robyn Brown. While Meri has been a professional in front of the camera for 19 seasons, she confessed that the first day of filming took her by surprise.
“Just thinking about that first scene when I introduced myself, I didn't expect the cameras to be there,” she recalls. “I didn't know they were there. I would have been a little more prepared.”
When the show began, Meri, Janelle, 55, Christine, 52, were all married to Kody, 55, and he was in the process of dating Robyn, whom he married in 2014. However, the relationship dynamic of theirs has changed a lot since then. . Christine and Kody split in 2021, while Janelle and Kody called it quits the following year. While Meri prefers to get ready for the camera, she teased that Kody is the one who would most likely be “the star of the blooper reel.”
“Just because of all the stuff coming out of his mouth it must be swollen,” she said.
While the Brown family has been open about their life on screen, there are some topics Merit doesn't like to talk about on the show.

Us Weekly“I don't like talking or listening to other people talk about intimacy, PDA and finances,” she said. us. “I think finance is not a necessary conversation.”
As for who takes longer to get ready, Meri admitted it's a toss-up between her or Robyn.
“It always takes me an hour and a half to get ready,” she confessed “Sometimes I've done it at 45, but that's only when I'm at home.”
While Kody remains married to Robyn to this day, Janelle, Christine and Meri, (aka, the ex-wives club), have remained close as they continue to navigate life as a family. Mary shared that over the years her favorite family gathering had to be Thanksgiving where all their children were present. Mary and Kody have a son, Leon, 29. Kody is also the father of six children: Logan, 30, Maddie, 29, Hunter, 27, Gabriel, 23, and Savannah, 20, whom he shares with Janelle. Kody and Christine also have six children together: Aspyn, 29, Mykelti, 28, Paedon, 26, Gwendlyn, 23, Ysabel, 21, and Truely, 14. With fourth wife Robyn, Kody has son Solomon, 13, and daughter Ariella , 8 He also adopted Robyn's toddlers from her previous marriage: David, 24, Aurora, 22, and Breanna, 20. (Kody and Janelle were also parents to son Garrison, who died in March at age 25.)
“When the kids were growing up, they would go and do different things for different parties,” Mary said. “But on Thanksgiving almost everyone was always there.”
Meri added that of all the women on the show, Christine was the “best” cook, but teased that she has also done “some not so good things”.
