Paige DeSorbo approached him Saturday Night Live STAR Marcello Hernandez following them Craig Conover cheating rumours.
“I don’t care about any rumor that’s ever been said about me,” DeSorbo, 32, admitted during the Tuesday, Jan. 7 episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast. “The only thing I was like, OK, I can’t, I’m going to let this go was because there was a third party involved. People say I cheated on Craig with Marcello.”
of Summer house star said she “died laughing” when the rumors started circulating online. She then turned to Hernandez, 27.
“I felt strange. I was like, ‘I feel like I have to text Marcelo, what if he sees it?'” DeSorbo said. “What if he has a boyfriend?”
The Bravo star said there was only “one time” she had texted Hernandez one-on-one before apologizing. (DeSorbo said she tried to get in SNL afterparty when comedian Shane Gillis was the host.)

Gregg DeGuire/FilmMagic“I just texted him. I said, ‘Hey, I just want to let you know, there was a rumor going around that I cheated on my boyfriend with you,’ and he was just like, ‘F—yeah,'” DeSorbo said as she and the host. Hannah Berner laughed.
Hernandez then began sending DeSorbo screenshots of the hate messages he was receiving about the rumors.
“I was like, Marcello, I’m so scary — I’m sorry. This is very embarrassing,” she continued. “And no one involved was defending me, which I found interesting.”
DeSorbo announced late last month that she and Conover, 35, had split after three years together.
“Craig and I have decided not to be together anymore,” she said during the Dec. 30 episode of the Giggly Squad podcast, revealing there was no drama surrounding their split.
Days later, the Instagram gossip account Deuxmoi posted a blind article claiming that DeSorbo spent New Year’s with a mystery man. Fans scrambled to identify the alleged suitor when the Snark Bait podcast released an episode claiming DeSorbo was involved with “a New York City-based comedian,” causing Hernandez’s name to be thrown around.

Will Heath/NBCDeSorbo shut down the speculation in various TikTok comments. “See you in court,” she joked when replying to a social media user, referring to the “Giggly Squad” catchphrase she coined with Berner.
Conover, for his part, kept quiet about the split for just over a week before breaking his silence on Tuesday.
“Sorry for the delay, this has all been very, very unexpected to say the least,” Southern charm said the star. “(It happened) right before the holidays. I was very shocked. And it’s okay. It takes two people to be in a relationship and you can’t control other people, you can only control how you react to it.”
