Malone (real name Austin Post) confirmed that he had a young woman in his life in May 2022, when he discovered that his unidentified girlfriend was pregnant with their first child. During pregnancy and the birth of the park, the “Sunflower” rapper kept details about their romance for himself.
“Having a kid really put a lot in perspective and really slowed me a lot, but it’s, like, the most beautiful thing,” Malone said during an interview in Apple Music in July 2023. “I just want to take a second and enjoy it. It’s not about destination. It is’ travel. I have never taken really time or really have had the gang width to try the journey to the maximum. I think that’s what I’m trying to do now.”
At that time, Malone discovered that their family of three “lives in Salt Lake (City)” in Utah.
“I like to make music (and) I like to be home with my family,” Malone added. “I want them and everyone in my life to be safe and happy.”
Malone and Park, however, were separated somewhere before April 2025, when they presented relevant petitions to establish custody agreements for their daughter.

Pregnancy
Malone told TMZ in May 2022 that the park, without revealing its name, was pregnant with their first child.
“I am excited about this other chapter in my life,” he said. “I’m happier I have ever been and (I want to) spread as much love as we can every day.”

A secret commitment
Malone discovered during a 2023 appearance in Podcast “Call Her Daddy” that he proposed to parked two years ago.
“I had lost a considerable amount of money on the table, and we go up and I’m, as, out of my shock,” he joked. “I was like, ‘hey, you want to marry me? I have a ring and all these things.” Then she said no (and) she’s like, ‘ask me tomorrow.’ And then I did.
Detention back and forth
The news was broken in April 2025 that Malone presented a petition for detention in Utah, where he and the park had been copying their daughter. Two days later, Park submitted its legal request within the California judicial system and sought the only physical custody and joint legal custody.
Neither Malone nor the park immediately addressed their publicly custody dispute. The weekly arrived for comment at the time.
