Michael Owens/Getty ImagesEspn Sunday NFL Counting Started its Super Bowl Lix programming by welcoming again Moss randy with a heartfelt tribute after his treatment of cancer.
In a video tribute, which was shared through social media, current players and former -NFL, such as Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, Justin Jefferson And more, each gave a message to Moss, 47, welcoming it back to the show. The video prompted an emotional response from table members, especially Moss.
“You will already know that it is the great creation here,” Moss said, wiping tears. He further thanked “NFL and my teammates” and the people who appeared in the video. “Hey, I can’t do it alone,” he said. “It has been difficult, but I have a lot of love and a lot of people believe in me, man.”
NFL host Mike Greenberg They said they had previously promised Moss they would not make a tribute to him after returning, but Moss seemed grateful anyway. “I’m happy to be here,” Moss said, then added to Greenberg, joking, “Greenie, don’t do it again. Let’s start this show.”
Moss has been an analyst in Sunday NFL Counting Since 2016, but has received a break from the show in December 2024 for health reasons. He later discovered that he was diagnosed with liver cancer and underwent successful “six -hour” surgery to remove cancerous mass.
“Ya Boy is a cancer survivor,” Moss said in a live video on Instagram in December. “I had cancer, they found it in the bile canal just between the pancreas and the liver. The cancer was sitting right outside the bile canal.”
At the time, Moss also expressed gratitude for the support of the football community and the wishes of the wells sent his way. “All the prayers, good wishes, I really felt that my family felt it,” he said. “Once I get healthy to get back with boys, I’ll be determined. … I hope I can soon be with you guys. My goal is to return to television with my team.”
On Thursday, February 6, Moss shared further update for his health during a virtual appearance in the honors of NFL 2025.
“Good evening everyone. How are you doing? We are good to talk to you tonight, ”Moss said in direct footage during the ceremony, which took place in New Orleans.
He went on, “I’m sorry I couldn’t be there personally to join everyone, but I want to send you a special thanks to all my doctors, my beautiful wife, my children, my family , my teammates and all the prayers of prayer there.
