In one Women Sisters sneak peek, Cody Brown shows that after three failed marriages he only has eyes for his remaining wife Robyn Brown — but is she okay with leaving polygamy behind?
“Will you accept me as a monogamist?” Kody, 55, asks Robyn, 46 Us WeeklyExclusive sneak peek of the Sunday, January 5th episode of the TLC series. “Is there a problem with that?”
A tearful Robyn lashes out before answering her husband, promising: “I’ll always stand by you.”
“I’m just having an identity crisis,” she adds.

TLCRobyn became Kody’s fourth wife in 2014 when they were legally married. At the time, Kody and his first wife, Mary Brownlegally divorced so he could adopt Robyn’s three children from a previous marriage. Kody then entered into a spiritual union with Mary, 53, which was similar to the one he shared with his second and third wives. Janelle AND Christine Brown.
The Brown family began to fall apart in November 2021 when Christine, 52, left Kody after more than 25 years together. Janelle, 55, followed suit, announcing her split from Kody in December 2022.

Mary confirmed in January 2023 that she and Kody had parted ways after navigating a rough few years. She quickly asked their church to “end” the marriage, which was shown on camera during season 19 of Women Sisters.
Robyn, for her part, has been vocal about the heartbreak she says she endured as a result of her sisters’ wives leaving the family. She previously said she envisioned growing old with all three wives and their respective children — a future that is no longer an option.
“Yeah, I’ll always be with him and I love him,” Robyn says of her husband in Sunday’s episode, admitting, “It’s not what I wanted for my life.”
Robyn, who shares two children with Kody, goes on to tell him in the video that she’s “just stuck” after all the turmoil in their family.
Meanwhile, Kody tells his wife that he is ready for closure. “Whatever I’ve done in these marriages, they’re done,” he says. “Whatever happened between me and them, I’m done.”
The patriarch explains: “I’m not going to fix it with Mary,” adding, “I’m not going to try to fix it with Janela anymore. She is done with me.”

Robyn seems surprised by Kody’s comments about Janelle, who at the time of filming was the only one of his exes still living nearby in Arizona. (Kristina moved to Utah and married David Woolley in October 2023. Mary, in turn, asked Kody to help her move into her bed and breakfast in Utah earlier this season.)
“She told you it’s over?” Robin asks about Janela. “Yeah,” Kody replies. “Do you like (using) those words?” Robyn questions, to which Kody once again says, “Yes.”
