Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo
Bravo (2)Craig Conover it became true Southern charm about his family plans with Paige DeSorbo — and the steps he took to become a father one day — before they called it quits.
“Paige and I have decided to freeze my sperm,” Craig, 35, told friends. Austen Kroll AND Shep Rose during the Thursday, Jan. 2, episode of the Bravo series set in the summer of 2024.
During the episode, Craig also told his then-girlfriend, Paige, about his choice to make sure they could have children one day, which surprised her as well. (Paige, 32, announced her and Craig’s split days before this episode aired.)
“I was thinking about freezing my sperm,” Craig explained to Paige while sitting in his Charleston backyard. “That’s like the craziest thing in the world,” a stunned Paige said in response.
Despite the obvious shock on Paige’s face, Craig went ahead with the idea and the cameras followed him to the sperm bank where he did his business.
Craig continued to outline his plan for a family with Paige while chatting with Austen, 37, and Shep, 44, during Thursday’s episode.
“I read about this person who was in a car accident … they can’t produce anymore,” Craig told his friends. “I’d be remiss not to say that becoming a father is, probably, whatever it’s called if it’s in my future.”

When asked whose idea it was to not have a family, Craig said it was Paige. He claimed that once she decided they would wait, “It made sense to me.”
However, Craig confessed that “without any influence from Paige” he would have his own timeline which was: “You date for a while, then you get married, then you have kids.”
The Sewing Down South founder insisted he and Paige, who had been dating for three years when he filmed the scene, would get married and have kids “one day” but for now they were trying to “make as much money as possible that it was possible.”
“I want children one day. Have I ever told you that I want children now?” Craig told Austen, claiming, “I never said I wanted kids now.”
Austen, however, told the cameras: “Ever since I’ve known Craig, he’s wanted to get married, he’s wanted to have kids.” Austen confessed, “I’m not totally sold that Craig wants what Paige wants.”
Craig, meanwhile, confessed that his timeline has been altered due to his relationship with Paige. “The version of life that I saw myself living is not what I’m living, which is this stable home that I grew up with,” he told the cameras. “Every night at dinner, mom and dad were there with my brother. I just loved it.”
He explained: “But I think if you find the right person and they’re a dashing Italian from New York, things don’t always go as planned.”
Craig and Paige sparked a romance in the summer of 2021 after starring together in Season 1 of Winter house. In early December 2024, Craig shut down the breakup rumors, but weeks later Paige confirmed they had split before the holidays.
“Me and Craig have decided not to be together anymore Summer house said the star during the episode of Monday, December 30 of her and Hannah Bernerthe Giggly Squad podcast. “I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. Nobody did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we were both really mature and saying what we wanted and didn’t want, and I think that’s incredibly powerful to be able to express how you feel in real time and what you want for your future.”
Before their split, a source exclusively said Us Weekly that Craig was “ready for the next steps and had plans to propose.” However, living in separate cities — Craig resides in Charleston, while Paige lives in New York City — proved too much for the couple to overcome.
“Paige does not want to move to Charleston and logistically it would never work for long,” the insider said on Tuesday, December 31. “A lot of their friends aren’t shocked at all, but they’re all sad for them.”
