Getty ImagesChallenge aluma Kaycee Clark AND Nany gonzalez have resigned more than a year after the announcement of their engagement.
“After a lot of reflections, Kaycee and I have decided to go on the road,” the couple wrote in a joint statement shared on Instagram Stories on Wednesday, January 25.
“This was definitely not an easy decision, but it is best for us both,” they wrote.
He went on: “Thank you to all those who supported us along the way – we are both moving forward with love and kindness in our hearts and demanding that you respect our need for privacy at the moment.”
Clark, 37, and González, 36, met during season 35th shoot Challenge: Total Madness in 2019. The pair did not romantically tied up to two years later, when they began posting photos with each other on Instagram.
During an interview with Usukly In August 2022, Clark and González discovered that they were “super excited” for their future and said they had discussed the possibility of marriage and children.
“We’ve talked a lot about him. The next step, of course, would be marriage, ”González told us at the time.
“And then, of course, after that would be the kids and they would, of course, come, you know, with IVF and all this. So this is definitely something we will eventually consider and we are super excited for our future together, ”she added.
The former couple announced their engagement in a video posted on Instagram on September 17, 2023.
In the clip, which seems to have been deleted since then, the pair could be seen walking, dancing and hugging on a beach on the Phi PHI Islands of Thailand. The video ended with González sitting in a knee next to a lit table in a fire that read, “Will you marry me.”
“From the moment I met this woman, I knew she was someone special,” the inscription read.
“Our streets were crucified in the most unexpected way and I am always grateful for that random meeting. My heart is full of love and gratitude for the joy you have brought to my life, Kaycee Noelle. ”
