PINK AND Kerry Hart have found the secret to making their relationship work, no matter the circumstances.
The pair met in 2001 at the Summer X Games in Philadelphia. After reconciling after a brief split in 2003, Pink proposed to Hart in 2005 while the motocross racer competed during the Pro 250 class finals in Mammoth, California. They married in Costa Rica in 2006.
The “Just Give Me a Reason” singer revealed in 2008 that the pair had called it quits after two years of marriage. Their breakup inspired her singles “So What,” “Mean,” “I Don’t Believe You” and “Please Don’t Leave Me,” all of which appeared on it. Fun house album that same year.
The pair eventually found their way back to each other after Pink confirmed their reconciliation in February 2010. Nearly eight years later, she brought up their rocky past while commemorating their 12th anniversary via Instagram. “12 years married today. 16 if you count the 4 years we spent deciding if we were going to live together forever or kill each other,” she captioned a collection of photos of the couple over the years in January 2018. “It’s been a beautiful mix of it ever since the year. Be young and train those ladies. I still have a crush on you @hartluck.”
Pink and Hart are now parents to daughter Willow, born in 2011, and son Jameson, born in 2016.
The Grammy winner previously opened up about how co-parenting with Hart has “completely changed” her for the better. “I am much more open. I accept myself much more. I’m much more thoughtful,” she said Carson Daly IN today in 2019. “I plan more. must. I have to find the balance.”
She added, “I think about the world more and what we’re leaving for these kids and the direction we’re going, so I think it changes your music, but I’m not writing songs about my kids because I feel like the best are already written.”
