Vanderpomp Rules Cast members have offered a glimpse of how much they’ve earned during their respective stints on the hit Bravo series.
The subject of wages has been raised in various circumstances over the years since then Vanderpomp Rules debuted in 2013. Following Raquel Leviss AND Tom Sandovalit’s a shocking affair after Ariana MadixHer return – which was announced in March 2023 – the former beauty pageant recalled how money played a role in her not returning for season 11.
“I asked for equal pay with Tom and Ariana and to be reimbursed for my treatment expenses. They refused to pay me equally,” said Raquel Bethenny FrankelReWives podcast in August 2023. “I feel like when you pay your employees, it really shows how much you value them.”
Bethenny, for her part, claimed that the network should have offered Raquel a bigger salary because of the tremendous success — including higher ratings — of the Scandal-related episodes.
“Like partially manufactured people… Let’s say it’s true in a very unrealistic circumstance. So now you have one of the three characters who can’t even afford to pay for the treatment you just went through,” Real Housewives of New York City said the alum referring to Raquel’s stint in a mental health facility. “Because I understand that you are paid less per year than my apprentices.”
However, Raquel’s co-stars were quick to slam Bethenny’s stance. “I know for a fact (how much Raquel made) because she thanked me for taking her to the lawyer she was with last season.” Scheana Shay shared on her “Scheananigans” podcast that same month. “He was able to negotiate $19,000 an episode. For 19 episodes, that’s $361,000.”
