Beckinsale and Rife dated for a year after tying the knot in 2017. After their split, the actress sparked a romance with Pete Davidson in 2019. At the time, Rife made headlines by telling Davidson, 31, that he should “run” and described his relationship with Beckinsale as “complicated.”
“Enjoy it while you can. I hope they’re both happy, I hope it can build to where it’s a good, solid relationship,” Rife told TMZ in March 2019. “I wish them both the best. I hope they are happy. I don’t have any strong advice, just be careful.”
Years later, Rife admitted he regretted his comments about Beckinsale.
