Gauff, 20, excitedly posted about her friend, Bailey Taylor Brownofficially joining the cast of the upcoming 29th season of Bachelor.
“I’m sitting down!” the tennis superstar wrote via Instagram Story on Tuesday, January 7. “I’ve never seen the show before, but it will!!!”
Gauff accompanied the post with Brown’s official cast photo for the latest season of the reality series, featuring the former Single contestant Grant Ellis as a Bachelor holder.
A social media manager from Atlanta, Brown has had Gauff in her corner for years.

“If you guys don’t know who Bailey is, you should go follow her because she is literally mine. Alix Earle,” Gauff said in a January 2023 TikTok video, referring to another mega-popular social media star. “I like its content. She’s my friend’s big sister and I love her.”
According to Brown’s website, she graduated from Georgia’s Kennesaw State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Apparel and Textiles. Since graduation, she has been signed to the Select Model Atlanta modeling agency.
According to her Bachelor Bio, Brown is 27 and “once took a flight solely for the purpose of leveling her status with an airline.” She also listed her comfort items as “bread and a heating pad” and dreams of “seeing a polar bear IRL.”
Brown poked fun at her polar bear fun fact via her Instagram Story after it caused some confusion.

Disney / Matt Sayles“WAIT,” Brown wrote on Tuesday. “When I said seeing a polar bear IRL, I meant in the wild on a field trip… ladies and gentlemen, I’ve been to a zoo.”
She added, “But you know what it’s been a few years you might have to go to the zoo (ATL) once it gets warm.”
In addition to her friendship with a star athlete, Brown has a known connection to professional sports.
Brown is the daughter of the late NBA referee Tony Brownwho died of pancreatic cancer on October 22 at the age of 55. During his decades-long major league career, Tony officiated more than 1,100 games.
“I love you and thank you for everything,” Bailey wrote on Instagram after her father’s death. The post included a video of the pair dancing together next to a Christmas tree when Bailey was a young girl.
