Justin BaldoniHer former agency, WME, insists on this Ryan Reynolds AND Blake Lively it had nothing to do with those who removed the actor and the director.
The talent agency dropped Baldoni, 40, as a client last month just one day after Lively, 37, filed a complaint with the California Department of Civil Rights, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment and a hostile workplace on set. of their film. It ends with Us. On Tuesday, Dec. 31, Baldoni filed a $250 million lawsuit against New York Times — which covered Lively’s Dec. 21 complaint — alleging, in part, that Reynolds pressured Baldoni’s agent to let her on Deadpool & Wolverine premiered last year in an attempt to “destroy Baldoni’s career and personal life.”
Wednesday, Jan. 1, WME said The Hollywood Reporter“In Baldon’s file, there is an allegation that Reynolds pressured Baldon’s agent at Deadpool & Wolverine premiere. This is not true. Baldon’s former representative was not in Deadpool & Wolverine premiere, nor was there any pressure from Reynolds or Lively at any time to remove Baldoni as a client.”
Baldoni is suing New York Times for defamation and false slight invasion of privacy, among others.
The lawsuit, received from Us Weeklyclaims that Lively “systematically excluded (him) from the marketing of his Film”.
Baldoni also claimed that Lively tried to stop him from premiering the film last summer.
“Further undermining Baldoni’s role, Lively initially refused to allow him to attend the Film’s premiere,” the lawsuit states. “Only after considerable pressure did she reluctantly agree to allow Baldoni and the Wayfarer team to participate, but on humiliating terms. The Wayfarer team and their families, including Baldon and (producer Jamey) Heath, were separated from the main cast, banned from the exclusive after-party and forced to host their own event at extra cost.”
The lawsuit further describes Lively’s alleged attempt to evict Baldoni and his family at the film’s premiere.

“Baldon’s red carpet appearance was interrupted and his family and friends were confined to a makeshift area in the basement before being escorted to a separate theater after Lively’s departure,” the lawsuit continues. “Not only did Lively steal the movie, but she also robbed Baldoni and his team of any real opportunity to celebrate their hard work.”
Lively filed her lawsuit against Baldon in the Southern District of New York on Tuesday. us can confirm. In addition to Baldoni, the actress has also sued publicists Melissa Nathan AND Jennifer Abeltogether with Wayfarer Studios.
The suit alleges sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy and loss of wages. The allegations parallel those made in Lively’s complaint filed with the California Department of Civil Rights 11 days ago.
“Nothing in this lawsuit changes anything about the allegations made in Ms. Lively’s California Department of Civil Rights Complaint, nor her federal complaint filed earlier today,” Lively’s attorney responded to Baldon’s lawsuit. in a statement to us. “This lawsuit is based on the obviously false premise that the administrative complaint of Mrs. Lively v. Wayfarer et al was a ruse based on a choice ‘not to file a lawsuit against Baldon, Wayfarer’ and that ‘litigation was never her ultimate goal.’ As shown by the federal complaint filed by Ms. Lively earlier today, that frame of reference for the Wayfarer lawsuit is bogus. While we will not discuss this matter in print, we encourage people to read Ms. Lively as a whole. We look forward to addressing each of Wayfarer’s claims in court.”
