Chicago Food Chris Campbell blogger, known online like Chris Caresnone or “Babka King”, wanted to unite the world through the kitchen – but now he is talking against hatred.
On April 9, Campbell posted a video discussing the anti -Semitic comments he had seen in the content that presented Jewish food. In the video, he shows that someone commented on accusing him of receiving money from various Israeli lobbyists and Israeli defense forces (IDF), which he mocked.
“The anti -Semitism I have noticed, and I personally felt – I have received death threats … It’s true and you can see it,” Campbell said in the video posted on his Instagram page. Campbell, who is known for enjoying food from all over the world, noted that he has tried the kitchen from India, Italy, Greece, Mexico and Russia, among other things, but none have received as much “hatred” as videos showing Jewish food.

When talking to the Fox News Digital, Campbell stressed that it was not as if sections of comments on his Jewish content were full of hatred and anti -Semitism, but rather that it is the type of content that receives the most negative attention. However, he talked about the death threats he said were full of “the worst things I have ever heard.”
“The facts are that I have received death threats when I tried Babka, which is wild,” Campbell Fox News Digital told.
After posting the video in which he called anti -Semitic comments, Campbell shared another video of himself enjoying a Palestinian plate called Knafeh. However, he said that while he “got some interesting comments” in the video, she is still compared to what I got for Jewish culture. “

Campbell admitted to the Fox News Digital that comments initially made him wonder if the Jewish food exam was putting his life in danger. However, after giving up some thoughts, he decided to use his platform to spread more love and ultimately doubled in his Jewish food rehearsals.
“(There are) people literally in my DM saying how much they are, like, scared,” Campbell said. “And what kind of person would I be if I have a platform and see what I see and don’t say anything?”

Campbell’s journey to become “Babka King” began with a package by Half Moon Rondout Café in Kingston, New York.
“I had never heard of Babka, I didn’t even know they were sending me anything,” Campbell Fox News Digital told me. “I opened the box and got this WAFT, like, cinnamon and sugar, and that hit me in the face. I’m like, that’s crazy.”
Half Moon Rondout Café owner Jt Pinna – whose background is in human rights – told Fox News Digital that Campbell has a doctorate in babka “now that he has tried so much. Pinna said she liked Campbell’s content and decided to send the Creator of the content to see what would happen, and it turned into a sensation.
He told Fox News Digital that Babka’s first taste led to a flood of Jewish food packages. Since then, Campbell has tried some babkas, as well as other Jewish treatments, such as Hamantaschen and Purerami sandwiches.
Campbell is not one for the choice of parties – even when it comes to cinnamon against chocolate babka. On the contrary, it aims to attract others to expand their sides and learn about different cultures through food.
