A man in Wayne County, Michigan earned over a million dollars in the lottery after playing the same numbers year after year – and said he now plans to take a “extended family vacation”.
The man, 54, who did not reveal his identity, told the Michigan lottery that his $ 1.3 million win was a “dream come true”.
His winning ticket withdrew on January 8th.

He bought the winning ticket of Lotto 47 at a Detroit, Michigan, Detroit ticket in Taylor, Michigan.
“I’ve played this set of numbers for four years,” the winner told the Michigan lottery. “I scanned my ticket to the lottery app and saw Confetti fly.”

Its winning numbers were 04-08-17-28-36-43. He did not tell Michigan’s lottery how he came up with those numbers – or if he plans to continue to play them now that he has won the first prize.
Winning, said the man, “It’s a great feeling and gives me and my family financial freedom.”

The winner chose to get his price price profits in the form of $ 901,000, Michigan’s lottery said.
He plans to pay bills in addition to continuing a “extended” break with his family.
In 2024, eight players won Jackpot Lotto 47, said the Lottery Commissioner in Michigan Suzanna Shkreli in a press release published by Lottery Michigan.
